I will give you my history with EVA. I knew about it before I saw it. I thought that it was just your average robot Anime. I really became intrigued in April 2007, so I downloaded all twenty-six episodes and the two movies. I did not get round to watching it until June and for eight days, I experienced the classic for the first time. It was amazing and took my breath away. I even liked the endings (which I will get to at some post).
I was going over to Japan in September and I remembered Rebuild would be on. I decided to check it out. Another amazing Anime. I will get to a review sometime soon.
While I was over in Japan, I bought Second Impressions for the Saturn, despite not being able to play it. When I got back to Australia, I wanted people to experience Evangelion the same way I did and asked myself what the most popular video hosting site was. Dead easy. Youtube. So I decided to upload episodes. If it was not for the fact I loved EVA, I am not sure if I would have had the motivation to do it.
I recently made three Evangelion purchases: Volumes 1-2, 4-9 and 14 of the VHS English series, and the two Secret of and EVA 2 games for PSP. Evangelion is still going strong for me and always has something interesting in it. Look at my first post if you are wondering what I will be discussing.
